Wildflowers

During the spring and summer months I'm out searching for  and photographing wildflowers . There's nothing more thrilling than coming upon a rare specimen while out enjoying a spring or summer day up in the mountains. Sometimes it takes me quite awhile to work out how I'm going design a pair of wildflower earrings. I first have to decide whether I'm going use just metal or if I'm going to cover metal with melted glass known as enamel. If I decide to use enamel I then have to find colors that most closely match the true colors of the flowers. Just the color matching can require sending away to several companies to get just the right enamel colors.
